The Parliamentary Affairs and Electoral Literacy club was formed in the 2019-20 academic year. The club supports the students in understanding the parliamentary system. The club strives to accustom the students about their electoral rights, the process of registration and voting. It aims to mould the students as responsible citizens and benefactors for the development of the nation.We engage in parliamentary literacy events, mock parliaments, seminars and interactive sessions with elected representatives.The club aims at encouraging them to be effective and expressive agents of change.

Objectives

  • To familiarise students with the rules, regulations and functioning of the
    Parliament Legislature.
  • To provide a platform where students can discuss social, political, economic and other issues by analysing them intellectually.
  • To Guarantee equality and justice for all.
