\nRural camp was organized by the department for the first semester MSW students at uzhamalaykal grama panchayath for from 26 th November to 1 December 2019. The camp was coordinated by Mr sajan Antony, Ms. Dani Thomas and Ms Sulthana Sulaiman.

A food fest named ‘foodla’ was a grand initiative by department of social work, students were conducted a food fest & they were provided the monetary gain from Foolda to needy people in near by erumely.<\/p>\n

The department of social work celebrated teachers on September 5, The programme ended with dedication for the teachers by the messages and distribution of gifts to the teachers. Teachers have a positive disposition towards the whole event.<\/p>\n

The department of social work humbly undertaken their responsibility during flood time’s, the students from social work department coordinated the college level flood relief activities.They were collected food, cloths, Napkins and other materials from various resources and distributed it to the needy. All the young citizen of our country, especially the Kerala youth joined their hands together to overcome this pathetic situation.<\/p>\n

The department takes students for observation visits to various NGO’s and institutions.<\/p>\n

As part of the course, students are allotted for 21 days of field work during each semester.. During the second year, the students are deputed to various organizations based on their specialisation for field work<\/p>\n

After the completion of the course, students are deputed to various organizations for their one month internship. It helps students to practically utilize their theoretical knowledge.<\/p>\n

Department provides certificate course for its students. Students can take sny certificate course from the department certificate course list and they will be given 30 hours of classes. After the successful completion of the course, they are awarded with the certificate.<\/p>\n
