B.Com Office Management

Department of B.Com Office Management & Secretarial Practice is our new branch of Department of Commerce started from 2016 June on wards . Our first batch class had a student’s strength of 30. Classes are conducted under Choice Based Credit and Semester System (CBCSS). B.Com Office Management & Secretarial Practice is Model-III Programme. The duration of the B.Com Model-III programme of study is three academic years with six semesters. Syllabus contains a total of 34 subjects. It is divided into three heads namely - Common Courses, Core &Complementary Courses & Open Course with a one month On the Job Training in between forth & fifth semester and a Project related to commerce & Viva Voce in 6th Semester. Internal assessment is done through continuous evaluation of Attendance, Assignments, Seminars and two Internal Exams conducted by the College. A good & strict tutorial system is followed by the department.





B.Com. Office Management

A pass in +2, V.H.S.E or equivalent with Book-keeping and Accountancy and any two of the following subjects, viz., (1) Commerce (2) Commercial Correspondence and Commercial Geography (3) Economics (4) Life Insurance with Salesmanship and (5) Banking with Secretarial Practice (6) Business Studies (7) Maths (8) Computer Science (9) Computer Applications (10) Informatics practice  and management (11) Management (12) Accountancy  as optional under part III of the Examinations


Who have passed plus two or equivalent examination recognized by the university with other subjects under part 111 optional provided they have secured 45 percentage of the aggregate


Interview cards assigning a date of interview with the principal will be sent to the applicants whose applications are considered favourably. On receipt of the interview cards, the applicant is to report to the principal with his/her guardian, for interview at the date and time fixed, along with the following documents. Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form which can be had from the college office on payment of Rs. 350/-.  Payments once made will not be refunded. 50% of the seat of the course for being filled by the Govt. or such Authority determined by the Govt. on the basis of merit & reservation. Principles followed by the Govt. & remaining 50% filled by the Educational agency  on the basis of merit.

6.       Migration Certificate in the case candidates from other  universities

SC/ST Candidates should bring community certificate from the Tahasildar.
